Wowzers. Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg revealed that the site reached a pretty major milestone this week. For the first time ever, the site recorded one billion users online in a single day – breaking that down, it means that one in seven people used Facebook on Monday of this week. That’s pretty impressive. Zuckerberg took to Facebook to announce the news and to thank users for their support. “A more open and connected world is a better world,” he wrote. “It brings stronger relationships with those you love, a stronger economy with more opportunities, and a stronger society that reflects all of our values.”
