Those with an iPhone and the latest iOS update should be able to use the new feature already, and while it is touted for an Android release, a date has not yet been set.
To find out if you have access to the feature, simply upload a photo to Facebook and you should see a little wand in the left hand corner.
Users can then auto-correct their photo or select from seven filters in a simple, satisfying swipe.
After that, you can be as creative as you like, adding stickers, text and emojis to your heart's content.
Facebook told TechCrunch: “People want to be creative when they share experiences with their friends and family on Facebook.
"We are rolling out a new place to house all of Facebook’s photo-editing tools, making it even easier to add filters, stickers, or text to your photos.”
But beware, although the new feature has a very 'Snapchatty' feel, the photos you post are very much permanent.
