The ESB has stated that they are working hard to get power restored to homes nationwide, with houses in Dublin, Tipperary, Cork, Kerry, Westmeath, Meath, Leitrim and Laois some of the many homes affected.
Their website, powercheck.ie, gives an estimated time for each of the services to be restored, with homes in Trim and Carrick On Shannon expected to have power back at approximately 1.45pm, homes in Portlaoise from 2.15pm today, and in Clonmel from 2.30pm.

Meanwhile, a Status Orange wind warning is still in effect, with gusts of up to 130km/h expected, while there is a Status Yellow weather advisory in effect due to Storm Clodagh.
