The end of August is nearly upon us (*sob), and we’re planning on making the very most of the last days of summer. 

Here’s our pick of the best events happening around the Emerald Isle for the rest of the month. Make sure you hit the road to check out some of these fantastic festivals!

1. Doolin Craft Beer and Roots Festival, Co. Clare

What: The west Clare village is playing host to some of Ireland’s leading craft breweries and a line up of fantastic folk acts including Luan Parle, Gavin Glass and a whole lot more. Get tickets here.

2. A Taste Of Donegal Food Festival

What: A three day celebration of great food and drink with exhibitor stands from top Irish restaurants, demonstrations from celebrity chefs including Neven Maguire, tutored wine and beer tastings and much more. For more info click here.

3. SugarBeat Music Festival, Tuam, Co. Galway

What: Galway’s outdoor music festival is back for a second year following last year’s hugely successful event. With a whole host of talented Irish musicians set to perform (including HomeTown, The Stunning and Ryan Sheridan), it promises to be a great weekend of entertainment. To get tickets click here.

4. Dalkey Lobster Festival, Co. Dublin

5. Riverdance, The Gaiety Theatre, Dublin
