Last week it was a dog but this week an elderly man who went missing in Maine was found during the news report about him.
Robert McDonagh, who suffers from dementia, had been missing for 14 hours when he stumbled across a television crew reporting about his disappearance.
Moments before WMTW News 8 newsreader Norm Karkos was about to begin the 73-year-old came down the road and made himself known to the crew who then contacted the authorities.
According to the report McDonagh, who was last seen on the road on which he was found, was safe and well apart from a minor cut and wet feet.
