A self-professed nerd has put his brains to the test and created an online atlas of the world’s rudest place names.
Londoner Gary Gale has made a collection of the world’s most amusingly puerile place names and displayed them all on a super-cool interactive map online.
Ireland has eight contributions the map, including Muff in Donegal, Effin in Limerick and Ring in Waterford.
The US have some real corkers including Hooker in Oklahoma, Climax in Colorado, and Mianus in Connecticut.

Other ones that stand out for us (and had us snorting with laughter) were Tit in Algeria, Anus in the Philippines, Crap in Albania, Cocks in Devon, Nob End in Bolton…
