If you are planning a staycation or a little road trip around Ireland, then a visit to Kilkenny should most definitely be on your agenda. A hidden gem, Butler House, ran by the exceptional staff and overseen by Deirdre Keating (Hospitality Manager) and Ger Dunne (Executive Head Chef), is a must visit. The hotel features an on-site newly revamped restaurant, a gorgeous garden and a stunning terrace, all within less than a 10-minute walk from the heart of the city and Kilkenny castle. Oh, and did we mention this INCREDIBLE suite. The room which looks like it's straight from a Disney fairytale - is perfect for a girlie weekend away or simply a well-needed night away from all the stresses of daily life.
