It’s going to be a male-strong den again this season as RTE’s hit TV entrepreneur show reveal their newest additions to the pitch-watching panel.
The fifth series of Dragons’ Den will begin filming in the New Year and Gavin Duffy, Sean O’Sullivan and Ramona Nicholas have their places on the couches set.
But who’s going to join them?
It’s businessmen Peter Casey and Barry O’Sullivan who will be bringing the cut and thrust of the American boardroom to the Den.
Both men have a proven track record with start-ups and are ready to invest and finance in someone’s dream on the Emerald Isle.
So, spill the details, how can the Irish impress Casey and O’Sullivan?
Introducing Peter…
Peter Casey is the founder and executive chairman of Claddagh Resources, a global recruitment company for the world’s biggest consulting and IT firms. Based in Georgia, USA, Casey has proved in the past he has the steel required for the Den.
Welcoming Barry…
Barry O’Sullivan is senior vice president at Cisco Systems and has been General Manager of several divisions. He has a long track record of leading businesses from revenues in the millions into the billions. Exactly what we’re looking for!
Already, 230 ideas have passed through the Dragon’s Den in Ireland since the programme first began. More than 60 have been successful and secured over €3.2 million in funding.
Have a novel idea that you’re only dying to share with the world, picking up an investment offer along the way if possible? You still have four days to apply to the show.
