Does This “Social Experiment” Prove Finding Love is Harder for Men?

We have our doubts about the results

YouTube channel whatever focuses on social experiments, randomness and well, whatever else.

Videos usually centre around really awky social interactions with a focus on trying to understand whether it’s more difficult for men or women to pull. The “social experiments” often weigh in favour of the women and “prove” that the dating scene is a minefield of rejection for some poor fellows. Cry.

This latest video tries to decipher whether the digital dating cards are stacked in the favour of ladies. Creating two almost identical profiles with a male and a female of ‘equal attractiveness’, the pranksters swiped right on each profile 1000 times.

They weighed up the difference in matches for the guy and girl and determined, scientifically speaking, that women are more likely to match, ergo more likely to find a date.

The lady received 378 messages, totally trumping the lads 28. Whatever deemed this sufficient evidence that it’s easier for a girl to get attention. Alas in real life, once the dick pics and digital cat callers are subtracted, the reply worthy messages are probably on par.
