So the first part of the story isn’t that unusual but the second part is bound to have made you scratch your head or at least look puzzled.
A 38-year-old woman decided to go to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary after experiencing a number of symptoms including weight loss, lethargy and uncontrollable shaking.
Doctors ordered an x-ray which showed a five inch long object in her vagina. It turned out to be a sex toy which she apparently hadn’t used in over a decade.
According to reports, the toy was putting pressure on her bladder causing a “vesicovaginal fistula” (a connection between the bladder and vagina which can lead to a number of problems including urinary incontinence).
When asked about it, the woman admitted to being drunk when she and her partner had used the toy but said she couldn’t remember if it had been removed.
Think she has her answer now.
