Disco, Dancing and Dracula: The Best of Tonight’s TV

We’ve got all the usual suspects and a couple of films to keep you occupied on this fine Saturday night. Nanny McPhee and the Big Bang – RTÉ One (5.25pm) Emma Thompson and Maggie Gyllenhaal star in this family flick about a woman who calls upon the magical nanny while her husband is away fighting in World War II. Strictly Come Dancing – BBC One (6.30pm) The remaining couples will be getting into the Halloween spirit this evening by performing a series of spooky routines. Results air tomorrow at 7.20pm. The X Factor – UTV (8.00pm) Disco is the theme this week and the competition is really hotting up after Hanna found herself in the sing-off last week. The Eagle – Channel 4 (9.00pm) A Roman centurion (Channing Tatum) wants to restore his family’s honour but needs the help of his slave (Jamie Bell). The Jonathan Ross Show – UTV (9.50pm) The television host is joined by Paul Hollywood, Steve Coogan and Jonathan Rhys Meyers.
