A Macon woman was determined to succeed in a college psychology test despite the fact that she was in labour. 21-year-old Tommitrise Collins completed the online test as she waited in hospital to deliver her baby.

Sister Shanell Champman snapped a picture of the mother to be completing the test and shared it to Facebook. “This is what you call ‘Strong Priorities’. Contractions 3 minutes apart and still takes her Psychology Test! You are going to be a great mom baby sis!” Chapman said on Facebook.

The post soon went viral, with over 15,000 shares. Collins simply said she did it “so I wouldn’t have to do it later and I could enjoy my newborn”. It took her 90 minutes to complete the exam, 30 minutes under the allocated time. Collins received a B grade.

She delivered a healthy baby girl named Tyler Elise, weighing 7 pounds and 10 ounces. Collins said she loves every moment of being a mother and feels like it’s the biggest blessing she has ever had.

The AMAZING strength of a woman!! Great Job sis! Love you! Tyler Elise
