Safe sex is smart sex, however, that being said when you’re in the heat of the moment, there’s nothing sexy about struggling with a condom wrapper. Yes, they’re awkward things but they’re a necessity if you want to keep yourself protected (and we always believe you should protect yourself).
Ladies, let’s just say that the following invention is only something that a man could think up. Actually, we had a bit of a giggle in the office when we heard about this.
A designer has decided that opening a condom wrapper should be a far more attractive affair than it actually is, which is why he’s come up with the ingenious idea of developing a special wrapper that can be opened with a flick of the thumb.
The result is less time spent fumbling with a bit of foil and more time spent fumbling with your partner instead (again, trust a man to come up with this idea…)
Will we soon be saying goodbye to the normal, tricky condom wrapper?
Anyway the new single-hand condom wrapper, the brain child of designer Ben Pawl, will go on show for the first time soon enough and contraceptive industry experts will have a gawk and see if it’s something they could buy into.
Speaking to the Metro, Pawle explained that originally, his one-handed condom wrapper was specially designed for hemiplegics – people who develop paralysis or weakness on one side of their bodies.
However, after speaking to a number of people, he now feels that it should be used in general to stop awkward condom-wrapper-opening from ruining the atmosphere of an otherwise romantic activity.
What do you think ladies? Easy-to-open condoms – are they a DO or a DON’T?
