Alber Elbaz, the creative director of luxe label Lanvin has officially collaborated with the legendary confectionary company Laduree on a new product. And can we just say, the results of this mash-up are absolutely scrumptious.
Lanvin has gotten on board with Laduree to create a specially designed gift box full of the infamous macaroons that Laduree are famous for. The boxes, designed by Alber Elbaz, feature fun cartoon-like sketches of stylish women and, more importantly, they contain eight bubblegum-flavoured macaroons. Score!
Elbaz is describing the project as being like “the bubble of childhood” and we have to say, we sort of love it. You get some awesome macaroons to chow down on, and once they’re gone you have a lovely Lanvin-designed box for all your old love letters and trinkets, perfect or what?

“The Lanvin creations of Alber Elbaz not only make women beautiful, but also prove that sweets and beauty can go hand in hand,” said a spokesperson from the house of Lanvin.
“They say that a delectable air of childhood surrounds those with a soft spot for sweets; this playful aura still follows Mr Elbaz, despite his role as a prominent couturier today,” the spokesperson added.
