Question: what happens when you let a 17-year-old decorate your house for Christmas? Answer: you get left with a display of festive lights that are timed to display in sync with some dubstep music.

This video of one teenager’s attempt to make festive lighting a little bit more interesting has gone viral on the internet.

YouTube user yz85zak states in the description for the video that it took 35,000 lights and 80 light-o-rama channels in order to make the display. Oh and he had some help from his dear old dad too (legend of a dad, but we imagine mammy wasn’t too impressed with the entire thing!).

He also urges YouTube viewers to swing by the family home and check out the display in person if they can.

Sure there’s nothing like a bit of crazy lighting and some Skrillex during Christmas, is there? We imagine Santa will have no problem finding this place on Christmas Eve – if he gets lost all he has to do is wait for the bass to drop…
