Doggy style is the most dangerous sex position and we’re surprised

If you've ever watched an episode of Sex Sent Me To The ER, you'll be aware that getting frisky is dangerous business. If you're looking to avoid your man ending up in a similar situation as the unfortunates that appear on that show (where do they find them?), you might be curious about which positions are the riskiest for men. Well, we now know that doggy-style is the most dangerous position for penile fractures, thanks to new research. A study in the the Journal of Impotence Research (which sounds like a whale of read, by the way) has revealed that going at it from behind is the cause of 41 per cent of penile fractures. Yikes. Missionary is the second most risky, followed by cowgirl (woman on top), the researchers found. The research was conducted with a small enough sample size (just 90 people who had fractured their penises) so maybe don't discount doggy-style just yet but rather make sure you're taking it handy. Be safe out there.
