Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman announce the results of the public vote but before a couple is sent home, the bottom two will have to do the dreaded dance-off.

 

The X Factor Results – TV3 (8.00pm)

As well as the first sing-off of the series, music legend Cher and pop princess Ellie Goulding will be taking to the stage.

 

Jaws – RTÉ Two (9.00pm)

In this Steven Spielberg classic a small seaside town is terrorised by a giant killer shark forcing the local police chief to take matters into his own hands.

 

Downton Abbey – UTV (9.00pm)

This week in the drama Mary is forced to face her future, Rose is off to London and Gregson takes his relationship with Edith to the next level.

 

Love/Hate – RTÉ One (9.30pm)

Detective Inspector Moynihan is hoping he can bring down Nidge with a complex undercover operation. Crime drama with Tom Vaughan-Lawlor.
