Dancing, Doctors and A Divorced Santa Claus: The Best of Tonight’s TV

From a bunch of celebrities trying to dance to an anniversary special of Doctor Who, there’s no need for you to leave the house tonight! Strictly Come Dancing – BBC One (6.30pm) Following the departure of Fiona Fullerton and Anton du Beke, the celebrities will be pulling out all the stops to make sure they’re not in the dreaded dance-off. The Santa Claus 2 – RTÉ One (6.35pm) After spending eight years as Father Christmas, divorced father Scott Calvin (Tim Allen) discovers he must find a wife before Christmas Eve. Doctor Who – BBC One (7.50pm) In this special anniversary episode involving three Doctors (Matt Smith, David Tennant and John Hurt) the past rears its head and reality is at stake. The X Factor – TV3 (8.00pm) The remaining acts will be celebrating the best of the show using memorable performances and songs by past contestants. The Saturday Night Show – RTÉ One (10.00pm) Brendan O’Connor is back with another episode of his entertainment show in which he will be chatting to a range of guests and offering up prizes.
