Dancing, a Diver and Deck the Halls: The Best of Tonight’s TV

From a festive flick to a chat show regular, there’s plenty to keep you entertained tonight. Deck the Halls – RTÉ One (6.35pm) Danny DeVito and Matthew Broderick star in this festive comedy about a man who gets annoyed when his reputation for being the king of Christmas comes under threat. Strictly Come Dancing – BBC One (7.10pm) This week the celebrities and their partners will be pulling out all the stops in the hope of making it through to the semi-final. Presented by Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman. The X Factor – TV3 (8.15pm) Luke, Nicholas, Sam and Rough Copy will be taking on two music superstars tonight, Elton John and Beyoncé. The Saturday Night Show – RTÉ One (9.45pm) As he does every Saturday night, broadcaster Brendan O’Connor will be chatting to a panel of celebrity guests and giving away prizes The Jonathan Ross Show – UTV (10.45pm) Jonathan is joined by diving star Tom Daley, comedian Jack Dee, actress Olivia Colman and physicist Brian Cox. Ellie Goulding will also be performing.
