After 20 years of the same hairdo, this woman decided it was time for a change. However, this wasn’t just your average trim, this gal took about 30 inches off of her hair and totally transformed her look.

Yes, it’s a brave thing to make such a drastic change, but she was surely left feeling great about her decision when her husband had the best reaction ever. Filming the big reveal, the couple’s daughter had her dad keep his eyes closed while her mum appeared with her fresh new look.

“So, after 20 years of growing her dreads my mom wanted to cut off her hair,” read the caption on the video she posted on Twitter. “She wasn’t sure how my dad would react though… but this is how he did.”
