We’re all aware of slut-shaming, and cyber bullying, but this probably doesn’t normally come to mind when you think about your father.
We trust our parents to do what’s right for us, and while every now and again you might do something that breaks with their approval, we don’t think that ever justifies being labelled a ‘slut’.
When one unnamed dad discovered his daughter had posted a near naked image to her Snapchat, he didn’t take it very well.
It’s fair to say, he took it appallingly.
According to Elite Daily, the angry father in question took matters into his own hand, posting on his Facebook page:
‘So you would think your daughter was smart enough to not make something like this public…. Especially when you have little brothers. All this snapchat, Instagram stuff is bringing the slutness out of our children. The scarf was a gift from her grandmother and this is what she does with it. Since she is making pics like this public of herself… I will pass it on’
Whatever happened to having a stern talking to?
Or the threat of the wooden spoon?
While we could understand no dad would want to see this image of his daughter, we’re not sure trying to publicly shame her on Facebook is the answer.
