Couples in THIS country spend the longest time having sex

How long does the average ride last? And does it vary from country to country?

Well, according to a study conducted by extra-marital dating website VictoriaMilan, it does - and they've got the stats the prove it. Researchers asked over 6,000 married women living in 20 different countries how long they spend having sex with their husbands. The study was carried out to find out how satisfied married women were with their husband's performances in the bedroom, but the results gave some fairly interesting insights into how long the average sex session lasts depending on where you're from. At the very top of the list is Denmark, with couples apparently spending 44 minutes on the average ride. Next is America with 41 minutes, and then Finland with couples spending an average 39 minutes beneath the sheets. Ireland ranks somewhere in the middle, coming in at a respectable 31 minutes - only two minutes shorter than the UK who polled an impressive 33. At the very bottom of the list is South Africa, where couples apparently only spend a measly 15 minutes having sex. Disappointing. Speaking to The Sun, VictoriaMilan CEO Sigurd Vedal said that the study shows that sexual satisfaction "works both ways," and that it's not just men who will leave if they aren't being satisfied. Not exactly a revelation, but according to Vedal, not a lot of people are actually aware of this. Shame.
