An American company is giving its employees gift cards to buy guns as a Christmas bonus

A lot of people also get lovely gifts from their places of work, usually in the form of vouchers or bonuses. However, one company in the state of Wisconsin is giving its employees gift cards to buy guns. Happy Christmas? BuzzFeed News has reported that BenShot glassware employees will receive gift cards worth $500 to a gun shop of their choice. Rather than your typical Christmas cash bonus... Each team member will have to pass a background check. The company founder, Ben Wolfgram, told BuzzFeed that he has also introduced a safety and protocol course for employees. Cool. Ben Wolfgram said that he wanted to “give a gift…of personal protection to keep employees safe.” Two of the employees have turned down the offer of a firearm, and chosen to accept a generic gift card instead. Fair!
