July is the most common month for birthdays in Ireland with on average 5,380 born during the the month from 1980 until 2014. This is followed closely by May with an average of 5,332 births, and September with 5,291. Below are the average number of births per month But although the above are the biggest month, October 1 is the most common birthdate in Ireland with an average of 191 births on that day since 1980. In contrast the least common birthday is December 26, St Stephens's Day, is the least common birthday in Ireland with an average of 112 births on that day each year.
