Many of the magazine’s readers took part in a survey which concluded that San Miguel de Allende was their absolute favourite spot they visited so far. The results were determined by the quality of food, culture, hospitality, landmarks and overall value.
Steeped in history, culture and boasting some amazing Spanish architecture with a Mexican twist, it’s no wonder the city situated in Mexico’s central highlands took the top spot.
With food markets dotted around the city’s cobbled streets and vivid colours all-round any holiday pictures are bound to look stunning too.
