Cheryl Cole To Return To The X Factor

It looks as if Cheryl Cole is being tipped as the answer to The X Factor’s problems as it has been reported she might return to her role on the panel.

According to The Mirror music mogul Simon Cowell is keen for the Girls Aloud singer to join him on the show again.

Simon and Cheryl were on the panel with Dannii Minogue and Louis Walsh.

An insider explained: “Simon wants Cheryl to join him on the judging panel again. He regards the two of them as the dream team.

“The years they did the show together were hugely successful and Simon thinks that they could have an amazing comeback together.”

The current judging panel: Louis Walsh, Sharon Osbourne, Gary Barlow and Nicole Sherzinger.

As yet nothing has been confirmed but, with both Gary Barlow confirming his departure and Nicole Sherzinger looking likely to leave after the current series, new judges are needed.

We have to say we wouldn’t be surprised if Cheryl did return despite being sacked from the US version of the show two years ago.
