Cat finally rescued after it was stuck on a pole for three days

The poor little cat.

A cat has been successfully rescued after it was stuck on a pole for three days. Rescue efforts included trying to get the cat to hop into a bucket... but of course, the black and white kitty just looked at the bucket and then stared off into the distance, clearly not interested.

The incident occured in Phoenix in the US, and the animal, called Gypsy, wasn't rescued until today. A very brave man finally climbed all the way to the top yesterday, and brought the cat back down safely. According to a neighbour, Gypsy is a 'neighbourhood cat' and everyone in the area feed and water him, making sure he's happy and healthy.

She also commented however, that it's "not unusual" to not see him for a few weeks at a time. "I know him well enough that he could have jumped and knowing him he probably would have but thank goodness he didn't cause that it is kind of high for a cat," the neighbour told Arizona Family. We're just glad Gypsy is safe!
