Looking for a new way to exercise your mind during the pandemic?
Look no further than MoMA.
The Museum of Modern Art have been playing a blinder since the coronavirus pandemic took hold of the world, offering a selection of online exhibitions, magazines, and group art activities to ensure that self isolation needn’t be dull and unproductive.
Their latest offering comes in the form of a series of online courses all about art, art history, and of course, modern art.
The kicker? They’re all entirely free.
The in-depth courses, which are all available through Coursera, are weekly lessons comprised of videos, readings, and the odd quiz or two.
Courses include ‘Fashion as Design,’ ‘What is Contemporary Art?’, ‘Seeing Through Photographs’ and ‘Postwar Abstract Painting.’
Many of the courses include guest lectures who appear week on week with their unique and expert input on the topic of choice as well as their own pieces of work.
Did we mention that it’s all free, yeah?
