One Australian bride had an unexpected surprise on her wedding day recently when, just a few short hours before the ceremony was due to kick off, her bridesmaid went into labour – five weeks early.
Bride Bernadette Beahan was busy preparing for her big day when she got the call to say her friend Melissa had gone into labour and, just an hour later, had given birth to a baby boy.
The bride took the news in her stride though and, after reshuffling her hair and make-up appointments, rushed to the hospital with her other bridesmaids to visit the new arrival.
