Bride’s granddad was her ‘flower girl’ and it was adorable

“He insisted on practising before the big day so my sister Allison, my maid of honour, bought a pumpkin bucket and fake leaves from the dollar store and they practised on his driveway.”

None of Jennifer and her husband Austin's guests knew that 'Papa' was going to be the flower girl as they kept it as a surprise.

Papa obviously got a little nervous as instead of throwing the petals down the aisle, he threw them at the guests instead.

Jennifer said she felt this ''made the whole thing even funnier''.

So as an instrumental version of Christina Perri's A Thousand Years played, the 85-year-old walked down the aisle throwing petals.
