This bride was completely upstaged at her wedding… by a beluga whale

It's usually the gorgeous bridesmaid or the screaming child who does the upstaging at a wedding, but one bride found herself eclipsed by an uninvited intruder of a different kind this week.

Guests at an aquarium wedding at Mystic Seaport in Mystic, Connecticut found themselves completely swept away by a blushing beluga whale, bobbing about behind the bride and groom. The magnificent mammal appeared to have dropped in to congratulate the pair as they tied the knot in front of a vast water tank. The image, shared on the photo sharing site Imgur, shows the couple smiling awkwardly while their friends and family watch the world's best photobomb unfold before their eyes.
