The Duchess of Cambridge gave birth on Monday to a baby boy in St. Mary's Hospital in London. Barely 24 hours after the birth, Kate and William left the hospital with their bundle of joy.
However, no name was announced for the Royal baby until today.
The Duke and Duchess have named their baby Prince George Alexander Louis of Cambridge, which is quite the title. The news was delivered at 6.20pm this evening.
George had been the most popular name with betting firms with James trailing just after along with Alexander, Louis and Richard.

It was thought that the William and Kate would keep with tradition and name their baby after someone in the Royal Family, obviously George was the favourite.
Six King George have reigned on the throne of England and there is no doubt that they obviously wanted to keep Queen Elizabeth's father in mind while naming him.
The film The King's Speech was based on the life of George, the wartime King.
A Kensington Palace spokesman said: "This is now a private and quiet time for them to get to know their son."
The Prince was visited today by Queen Elizabeth who made the short visit from Buckingham Palace to Kensington Palace.
