We’re not flawless creatures but one thing that does set us apart from men is our incredible ability to multi-task. So much so that we’re often cooking with one hand, washing with another and managing our careers mentally.
The Irish woman is a remarkable feat and finally someone has acknowledged our many many skills. RTÉ 2’s Breakfast Republic hit the nail on the head with their new track Go Go Woman.
“She’s raising much needed cash for the youth centre bus, got to get the appendix out doesn’t want to make a fuss”, are among the hilarious but accurate lyrics. It reminds us so much of our mammies while simultaneously filling us with the fear of what’s to come.
