Low cost airline ‘WOW Air’ have announced that they will be kicking off a new transatlantic service from Dublin in autumn.
According to reports, the Icelandic airline will be offering flights to Boston and Washington from October of this year, and is promising one-way flights, including taxes, for as little as €149.
The airline recently announced the first ever direct flight between Dublin and Iceland and now, it has been reported that the American flights will run on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.
“We are thrilled to be able to offer our WOW prices for Irish passengers travelling between Dublin and North America,” said CEO Skúli Mogensen.
“Our aim is to transform low-cost transatlantic flights and make travel to the US affordable for everybody.”
