There’s no doubt about it, it’s been an especially windy week.
The vast majority of us used it as an excuse to change into our pyjama pants the minute we got home in the evening, order in pizza to keep us cosy and sit by the window, TV on too of course, in awe at the strong gales outside.
But there were a few brave souls that grabbed their boards and took the opportunity to ride Ireland’s impressive swell as it smashed into the west coast of Ireland in Mullaghmore, County Sligo.
