We thought we had seen it all and then we came across this app for dogs that is almost like a Tinder app. Now, don’t get any ideas, there are no pooches online checking around for suitable other halves. There are humans involved.
BarkBuddy is a new app that will allow you to search for your perfect dog. Now, although we think that all dogs are absolutely amazing and we shouldn’t be too shallow to just love one because he/she is incredibly cute, this is actually pretty clever.
The app uses the Tinder format to match homeless pooches with potential new owners. Every dog listed is from a database of rescue organisations so you will be giving a lovely dog a new home.
Each dog also comes complete with pictures and vital stats as well.
At the moment, the app just lists dogs from Canada and USA but the creators are hoping to expand to Europe.
Honestly, if it does come to Ireland in the future, please only use this app if you are looking for dog. Like the saying goes, a dog is not just for Christmas…
