Aussie anchor Natasha Exelby had to apologise to viewers after she got a fit of the giggles following an interview with an Irish guest.

The Network Ten newsreader couldn’t help but laugh after her co-host Matt Doran tried to set her up with Dubliner Allan Dixon.

But even worse was the fact that she had to read through a number of serious news reports following the exchange during which she referred to Allan as a “lucky leprechaun.”
