We’ve all heard the phrase “lovers tiff”, however this next disagreement escalated quickly into a full blown row, when one husband decided to leave his wife a fake bomb as a threat.
Florida man, Randolph Smith, was arrested on Friday as a result of a hoax device he left on the kitchen counter for his wife at home.

According to WPBF, police officials received a call from a distressed woman who claimed that husband left a grey pipe with a wire protruding from one end on the kitchen counter.
Several hand-written notes accompanied the device on the counter, including one that read, “This is an explosive. It’s a bomb.”
A short fuse: Smith’s wife came home to find an interesting surprise from her husband.
A bomb squad were brought in, only to find the device was in fact a hoax.
Officials managed to track Smith down at a local Burger King and arrested him.
Smith was arrested at a nearby Burger King.
According to the arrest report, during questioning at the Indian River County Sheriff’s Office, Smith made several attempts to leave the interview room and had to be handcuffed.
The disgruntled man told detectives that the hoax bomb was left after his wife “pissed him off.”
