Arnotts Launch Cook Month with Eight Top Irish Chefs

Need a little helping hand in the kitchen?

Rebecca McKnight

Live in-store events, demonstrations, and a cooking demonstration in an Irish store window…

It’s all happening a part of the inaugural ‘Arnotts Cook Month’. The event, which runs until June 7th, includes a series of exciting and innovative events and demonstrations.

Arnotts, Miele and Kenwood will host a selection of well-known celebrity chefs in a ‘Pop Up’ kitchen in the Arnotts Henry Street window. One of Her.ie’s favourite celebrity chefs, Clodagh McKenna will be on hand over the course of the month along with guest chefs in the Miele kitchen including Neven Maguire, Oliver Dunne – the youngest Michelin star chef in Ireland from Bon Appetit, Rozanne Stevens and Ron and Mona Wise. Also on the line up are Kenwood chefs Domini Kemp, Edward Hayden and Sophie Morris who will all take to the stage on various dates in the Henry Street ‘Pop Up Kitchen Window’ and in-store to demonstrate their talents and some of their seasonal signature dishes for customers.

In one of their most exciting launches to date, Miele will be showcasing the capabilities of their new Generation 6000 appliances in the Arnotts window. Exclusive to Arnotts and available in two designs, PureLine and ContourLine – the sleek and innovative machines have fused technological prowess, with functionality and premium design. Stackable in horizontal or vertical variations, their lines will add perfect symmetry to any kitchen layout in Brilliant White, Obsidian Black and Havana Brown.  Some of the main new functions include the Generation 6000 bean-to-cup coffee machine, with an EasyClick milk container that you can store in the fridge until you’re ready for a brew, and a ‘One Touch For Two’ function that makes two cups of any coffee at a time. The Multisteam function – which is incorporated into Miele’s 38 litre steam and 48 litre combi steam oven means that water from the tank is pumped into a powerful steam generator behind the cavity, and then injected via eight separate inlets for more even results and better control. The K30000 fridge freezer with stainless-steel rimmed drawers and FlexiLight LED strips allows easier access to all of your food  and the Perfect FreshPro humidity-controlled drawer keeps food fresh for four times longer than your average fridge.

To add to the exciting activity, Kenwood will be holding an exclusive competition to celebrate the launch of their new Nostalgia Chef, where they will be searching for the oldest Kenwood chef in Ireland. Kenwood users will have to identify a serial code on their chefs and send them in to Arnotts to be in with a chance of winning. Celebrate in kitchens all over the world, the Kenwood Chef has inspired and created family favourites for many years. The new Kenwood Nostalgia Chef has all the quality, reliability and durability of the retro style Kenwood Chef. Stylishly finished in gloss white with three retro colour accents to choose from (astro blue, calypso orange and pinto green) these style bring inspiration to the new generation. Stay tuned to the Arnotts Facebook and website during May for more details.

Terms and conditions apply for entry into the Kenwood competition and proof of product ownership will be necessary. Throughout the event there will be continued amazing savings and offers across all electrical brands – check out Arnotts.ie for more details.
