When you’re young, 25 seems ancient. You’re heading into your late twenties so you should have the job of your dreams, financial independence from your parents and your own house, right?
Wrong! A new report conducted by Sky HD has found that many women aged 20-25 are struggling to pay the bills, fulfil their career ambitions and has bad sex.
Around half of those surveyed revealed that they ‘settled for any old job’ with no relevance to their studies or interests with a vast proportion admitting that they were worried they would never be financially independent from their parents.
Bills, bills, bills – most 25-year-old’s are under financial pressure
Elaine Pyke, Director of Sky Atlantic said “’It’s no surprise to those of us who have been through – and survived – our twenties that it is not the easiest of decades.
The report also reveals that a rather bleak 54 per cent say they have already made ‘many’ mistakes in their lives with past relationships and sexual encounters being the biggest factor at 43 per cent followed by over spending at 40 per cent, trusting someone they shouldn’t have at 38 per cent and their choice of education at 26 per cent.
Bring on the big three-oh!
