A group of firefighters who had to rush out of a supermarket to answer an emergency call were shocked to find that when they returned, everything had been paid for.
The anonymous woman who bought the groceries left the below note with the receipt. The firefighters were deeply touched considering it was Memorial Weekend and for the fact that they have to pay for their own food.
“Whoever did this, we are forever grateful and your kind gesture will not be forgotten,’ the firefighters from Vacaville, California posted to their Facebook page. ‘Meals at the firehouse come out of our own pockets and this was beyond generous.”
