Ann Hathaway said she never dreamed of playing Cat Woman.
The actress followed in the footsteps of Halle Berry and Michelle Pfeiffer who portrayed Cat Woman in previous flicks.
Hathaway stars in The Dark Knight Rises, which is currently breaking box office records worldwide.
“It’s kind of a dream I never let myself have. It’s kind of the idea of being President is really fun, but you never actually think it’s going to happen,” she said.
“Because Michelle Pfeiffer was so iconic in the role, and then there was Halle Berry, so I didn’t think there would be another Cat Woman so soon. So the fact that I was the right age, available and Chris Nolan even wanted to meet with me. That was a big dream come true, just getting to meet Chris,” she said.

Hathaway was nervous about donning Cat Woman’s figure hugging leather outfit.
“The first time I was in it, Christian (Bale) was in the Batman suit and Tom (Hardy) came out as Bane, and I got a chill,” she said.
“I remember thinking, ‘This is going to be extraordinary’, and then because I’m neurotic, I thought, ‘Or we’re going to look like rejects from Hollywood Boulevard!’” she added.
