Whether it’s a Saturday “slumpathon” or a midweek treat, there’s nothing that spoils a lazy day at home more than having to head out for supplies.
For your food concerns, a wide variety of takeaways will come to your door willingly (after a charge and a 45 minute wait of course), but what if you fancy a sneaky tipple?
Amazon, the company that launched by selling books over the Internet from a single garage, is coming to the rescue.
Today, Amazon has announced that ‘Prime Now’ – a one-hour delivery service – is happening. The first city to see the rollout is the company’s hometown of Seattle and there are many more cities set to be added to the roster, including UK bases… which bodes very well for Irish users.
The delivery service allows users to order items like, wine, beer, milk, ice cream and TVs through the Prime Now app, with Prime users qualifying for a free two-hours delivery. If you’re REALLY in a rush, you can get the perfect house party set up to your door in a one-hour drop for a charge of $7.99.
