The costume is "no longer available".

Amazon has been forced to remove a ‘lady-boy’ costume after receiving major backlash.

The costume, which features “fabric male genitalia at the front of the dress”, was selling for £28.99 on the site in the run up to Halloween.

However, online shoppers were quick to express their disgust at the “tasteless” and “offensive” costume.

One reviewer wrote: “It’s the 21st century not the 1970’s; transgender people have a hard enough time as it is without this kind of ridicule.

“I assume that a company of your size has an all inclusive policy of respect for all it’s staff, regardless of gender, disability, sexual orientation etc.

“It’s just a pity that it does not apply these standards to it’s products. This sort of rubbish drags Amazon’s name into the gutter.

After receiving hundreds of complaints, including users threatening to boycott the site, the site removed the costume.

The outfit has also been removed from eBay.
