A supporters group in Dublin are hoping to organise a touching tribute to the six students who lost their lives in Berkeley and also to two men who died in a sewer accident in Portmarnock earlier this month.
It is hoped that the tribute will take place during this weekend’s Dublin GAA clash with Kildare at Croke Park this coming Sunday.
The tribute will take place during the Dublin v Kildare game.
The Hill 16 Army supporters group have been spreading the message on social media that they aim to hold a one minute round of applause.
It is hoped that the tribute will take place in the 16th minute of the Leinster semi-final showdown.

The six Irish students, Niccolai Schuster, Eoghan Culligan, Ashley Donohoe, Olivia Burke, Lorcan Miller and Eimear Walsh, tragically lost their lives after a balcony collapsed in California last Tuesday.
Stephen and Alan Harris both died as a result of a sewer accident in Portmarnock in Dublin earlier this month.
