Meet Jodi Rose, the woman has married the love of her life a supportive, sturdy and reliable bridge.
Le Pont du Diable or The Devil’s Bridge was built around 600 years ago in the south of France and caught Rose’s eye when she was touring the world for a music project on, you guessed it, bridges.
The couple married on June 17th with the ceremony being an intimate affair with only 14 guests attending.
“The Devil’s Bridge is everything I could desire in a husband – sturdy, trustworthy, sensual, kind & handsome” Rose says on her website.
“There is longevity in the arch of his back, he has stood for 600 years and he will stand for 600 more.”
What a looker! The bridge in all its glory.
Sadly their union isn’t officially recognised in France but this didn’t damper Rose’s feelings in the slightest, to her it truly is bridging the gap between humans and inanimate objects.
“This is not a decision I undertake lightly, just as our curves complement, we truly bring joy to each other, and the strength of his pylons will always carry me home.”
