Much like Voldemort in Harry Potter, Garth Brooks has found himself with a ‘He Who Must Not Be Named’ title after letting a lot of Irish fans down last summer.
While we hate bringing up the subject yet again, there are a lot of people holding on to their tickets…2,000 in fact.
According to The Irish Times, out of the 400,000 tickets sold, up to 2,000 people haven’t yet claimed back their refunds for the concerts that never actually went ahead.
We know it might be something you’d rather forget about entirely but think about it, you could have a night out, or start a holiday fund, or treat yourself to something nice (new shoes are always a good call).
Maybe people are hoping that Garth will come up trumps and decide to honour the tickets for this summer but as much we hate to say it, we think this one is over.
H/T to our JOE bros for this
