Is there anything better than a cute animal story to read of an evening? I don’t think so, and this one is too much to handle even for me.
Sloths are beautiful majestic creatures and it is hard to believe they are real, but one sloth in Ecuador had a spot of trouble crossing a busy road, bringing traffic to a halt.
The little furry angel was first noticed on the Transit Commission Of Ecuador’s Facebook page. It was obviously trying to cross the road to make a very necessary journey when it was rescued by an officer and checked out by a vet.

After the sloth was examined, it was given the all-clear to return to its natural habitat, according to CNN.
We can only hope it didn’t miss that important meeting.
