What do you think?
In an age where gender stereotypes are constantly being disproven, we were surprised to see this bathroom door sign get it so wrong.
Penta Hotel in the UK has recently come under fire for his presumptuous bathroom signs which people feel are narrow-minded and dated.
Twitter user Cassie Chadderton shared an image of the two bathroom doors, one of which has a figure with a thought cloud who is thinking about football and the other door features a figure with a thought cloud who is thinking about shopping.
Hi @pentahotels, just wondering if you know that we're in the 21st century now? pic.twitter.com/sDSTa2DHJN

She captioned the image “Just wondering if you know that we’re in the 21st century now?”
Pentahotels later responded with a somewhat sarcastic reply:

Before adding:
“One a serious note; We’re a modern and open-minded family who believes in equality.”
Other Twitter users soon backed up Cassie’s original tweet.

Other Twitter users said that it was only a bit of fun and that people were overreacting.
What do you think? Is it just light-hearted banter or is it wrong to assume what people think about solely based on their gender?
