It’s not everyday that a woman drops her engagement ring into a change cup. And it’s not everyday that the homeless person that received it returns it. But that is exactly what happened.
A homeless man called Billy Ray Harris has returned a large engagement ring to its rightful owner after finding it in his change cup.

According to RadarOnline.com Harris was begging in Kansas City when Sarah Darling gave him what she thought was change. But when he checked it later in the day it turned out she had given him her engagement ring.
Darling told reporters that she had taken the sparkler off and put it into her change purse because it was annoying her. It wasn’t until the next day that she realised it was missing.
When she went back to Harris to ask him about whether she had left something behind with him, he immediately produced the piece of jewellery.

Speaking about her relief, Darling said: “It seemed like a miracle. I thought for sure there was no way I would get it back. I think in our world we often jump to like the worst conclusion, and it just makes you realize that there are good people out there.”
And because a good deed deserves another, Darling thanked Harris by giving him all the money that was in her wallet!
